Preparatory meeting to plan for the 14th Nairobi work programme Focal Point Forum on biodiversity and climate change adaptation

Objective: Seek inputs from expert group members on designing and executing 14th Focal Point Forum on biodiversity and climate change adaptation to be held on 3rd November based on the concept note.

Specific inputs:

o  Key note speaker/s – proposals/rationale
o  Inputs on presentations from national priorities and actions, e.g. focus of interventions
o  Proposals on speakers representing forest and grasslands and one expert from oceans perspectives (ensuring regional balance)

Present two possible scenarios and seek input on formats for these scenarios and interested experts who could help with facilitation/rapporteur roles (this will be applicable only for those experts who can attend in person on 3 Nov)
