The CGE developed training materials to facilitate the preparation of NCs (decision 17/CP.8) and BURs (decision 2/CP.17, annex III) in accordance with the guidelines of the Convention.

The CGE also developed a set of materials to train the team of technical experts nominated to undertake the technical analysis of BURs.

The CGE has prepared a technical handbook to support the implementation of the enhanced transparency framework under Article 13 of the Paris Agreement and its modalities, procedures and guidelines (MPGs). These knowledge tools attempt to strike a balance in communicating the MPGs in simple language to improve understanding and usability.

CGE e-learning courses

The CGE updated e-learning courses on the preparation of national communication are now available. These free courses will provide participants with the necessary tools to conduct and prepare a national GHG inventory, vulnerability and adaptation assessment, and mitigation assessment.
Participants will receive a certificate of upon completion of the course.
