Status:

The SBI elected Mr. Naser Moghaddasi (Islamic Republic of Iran) as Vice-Chair of the SBI. The nomination for the SBI Rapporteur was still pending at the closing of the SBI. In accordance with rule 22, paragraph 2, of the draft rules of procedure being applied, the Chair informed Parties that the current SBI Rapporteur, Ms. Aysin Turpanci (Turkey), shall remain in office until the nomination has been received.
