This webinar, hosted by the Adaptation Committee, will focus on approaches to reviewing the overall progress made in achieving the global goal on adaptation. It will provide an opportunity for Parties, observers, adaptation practitioners and other experts to reflect on the approaches, their advantages and limitations, and associated challenges.
Guiding questions:
- Which principles and criteria should guide the consideration of approaches to reviewing overall progress towards the global goal on adaptation? In this context, which approaches are most feasible to be implemented in the short and long terms and why?
- What challenges and needs should be accounted for when considering approaches to reviewing overall progress towards the global goal on adaptation? How might these challenges be overcome?
- Are there any other approaches, ideas, factors, etc., that the Adaptation Committee should consider as it moves forward in its work on reviewing overall progress towards the global goal on adaptation?
