Information provided by the Global Environment Facility on its activities relating to the preparation of national communications and biennial update reports. Note by the secretariat.

The Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), at its forty-third session, invited the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to continue to provide detailed, accurate, timely and complete information on its activities relating to the preparation of national communications by Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (non-Annex I Parties), including the dates of approvals of funding and disbursement of funds. It also invited the GEF to continue to provide an approximate date for completion of draft national communications and an approximate date for submission of final national communications to the secretariat, for consideration at SBI 45.
SBI 44 invited the GEF to continue to provide detailed information on its activities relating to the preparation of biennial update reports by non-Annex I Parties, including the dates of requests for funding, approval of funding and disbursement of funds, for consideration at SBI 45.
