The UN Climate Change Conference COP 25 (2 – 13 December 2019) took place under the Presidency of the Government of Chile and was held with logistical support from the Government of Spain. SBSTA 51/ SBI 51 took place 2-9 December 2019. The pre-sessional period was from 25 November - 1 December 2019. The President for the conference was Ms. Carolina Schmidt, Minister of Environment of Chile.

UN Climate Change News, 15 July 2022 – The UN Climate Change secretariat has launched two new public registries that showcase countries’ national climate action plans (NDCs) and communicate means of adapting to climate change impacts (ADCOMs) - two key instruments of the Paris Agreement.
