2 (e). Status of ratification of the Paris Agreement

Status:

The CMA took note of the status of ratification of the Paris Agreement.

At the closing plenary, the CMA acknowledged that on 10 November, Turkey had officially become a Party to the Paris Agreement and that Iraq had ratified the Paris Agreement and would become a Party on 1 December.

Status:

The draft report was adopted as contained in document FCCC/PA/CMA/2021/L.3 on the understanding that the Rapporteur, with the assistance of the secretariat, will complete the report and make it available to all Parties.

The secretariat provided a preliminary assessment of the resource implications of decisions adopted by the CMA.
