10 June |
University of East Anglia |
Description and demonstration of PC-based, user-friendly software for the development of scenarios of future climate change and for the quantification of uncertainties at both the global-mean and regional level. Users can emulate TAR results or expand these to other emissions scenarios. The SCENGEN components translates the global-mean projections to regional scale (gridpoint) results using results from 17 different coupled Atmosphere/Ocean General Circulation Models. The uncertainty analysis allows results to be given in probabilistic terms. |
