- Nota informativa: disposiciones de visado para la COP 26
La fecha límite para la acreditación e inscripción de los medios de comunicación es el 30 de octubre de 2021. A día de hoy, hemos superado el número máximo de acreditaciones para los medios de comunicación, teniendo en cuenta otros participantes y las consideraciones de seguridad física y del lugar de celebración. Por lo tanto, nos vemos obligados a cerrar el sistema a partir del 8 de octubre de 2021.
Se tramitarán todas las solicitudes recibidas hasta el 8 de octubre inclusive. Lamentablemente, no estaremos en condiciones de aceptar nuevas solicitudes. Disculpen las molestias ocasionadas.
La secretaría espera recibir un elevado número de solicitudes de acreditación y aplicará un cupo para el nivel máximo de participantes en relación con la capacidad física de la conferencia y las instalaciones para los medios de comunicación, teniendo en cuenta a los demás participantes y las normas de seguridad e incendios.

La inscripción en línea es el único canal oficial para designar a los participantes en la COP26. La secretaría no está en condiciones de recibir solicitudes enviadas por cualquier otro método, por ejemplo, correo electrónico, fax o correo postal. Las solicitudes de apoyo técnico pueden enviarse a: onlinereg@unfccc.int.
- Vaya al sistema de inscripción en línea
- Busque en la esquina superior izquierda las opciones para iniciar sesión o crear una cuenta. Si ya tiene una cuenta, puede entrar con sus credenciales actuales. Si tiene que crear una nueva cuenta, recibirá las credenciales de acceso durante ese procedimiento
- Inicie sesión con su dirección de correo electrónico y su contraseña
- En la esquina superior derecha de la pantalla, seleccione "COP26" como reunión actual
- Cargue la documentación requerida y haga clic en "Enviar solicitud".
Una vez que haya recibido la confirmación de su acreditación, quedará inscrita en las sesiones y recibirá un formulario de confirmación de inscripción. Utilice este formulario cuando solicite el visado.

The secretariat has received a high number of accreditation applications and will be enforcing a quota for the maximum level of participants in relation to the physical capacity of the conference and media facilities, taking into account other participants and fire and security regulations.

Frequently asked questions
Online registration is the ONLY official channel for nominating participants for COP 26. The secretariat is not in a position to receive applications sent by any other method, e.g. e-mail, fax or post. Requests for technical support can be sent to: onlinereg@unfccc.int
1. Go to the Online Registration System
2. Look on the top left corner for options to either login or create an account. If you already have an account, you can log in with your existing credentials. If you have to create a new account, you will receive login credentials during that procedure
3. Log in with your e-mail address and password
4. In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, select "COP26" as the current meeting
5. Upload the required documentation and click on "Submit application"
Once you have received confirmation of your accreditation, you will be registered for the sessions and receive a Registration Acknowledgement Form. Use this form when applying for a visa.

For up-to-date information on dates and times for registration at the conference venue, please consult the Information for Participants Please be aware that you can register only once for the sessions. Double registration (i.e. as an observer organization representative and a Party or State representative, or as an observer organization representative and a press/media representative) is not permitted.
Advance requests for press conferences at COP 26 are gladly received, on the understanding that it is not yet possible to book them in our meeting room system. Your request will be kept on file and confirmed when we are able to schedule. This is expected to happen the beginning of October.
All meetings open to the press can be viewed on the webcast (opening plenary, side events and press conferences). Journalists are also encouraged to follow the many social media channels. During the conference, a live blog and videos will inform on the days' happenings. Official documents can be downloaded as they become available.
