About the Forum
The Standing Committee on Finance was mandated by the Conference of the Parties (COP), at its 17th session, to organize a Forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance in order to promote linkages and coherence. The Standing Committee on Finance reports on the Forum in its annual reports to the COP.

Connect to the Standing Committee on Finance
Parties encouraged the Standing Committee on Finance to facilitate the participation of the private sector, financial institutions and academia in the Forum. The COP also expressed that it looks forward to the creation of the Climate Finance Forum which will enable all Parties and stakeholders to exchange ideas on scaling up climate finance, etc. The Standing Committee on Finance will also report on the Forum in its annual reports to the COP.
In order to fulfill the mandates provided by the COP, the Standing Committee on Finance calls on all interested stakeholders to provide the committee with information related to climate finance.
