CTCN Workshop: Gender mainstreaming in Technology Needs Assessments This capacity building event will focus on sharing country experiences and key recommendations for development and implementation of gender-responsive Technology Needs Assessments (TNAs) with the aim of building the capacity of operating entities and stakeholders throughout the TNA process. The session will also facilitate discussions on gender-just technology prioritization, support identification of needs, and build the capacity of stakeholders to systematically ensure equal participation of men and women in national planning processes. |

COP Presidency High Level Event on Gender co-hosted by Germany: Towards ambitious and gender-inclusive climate action and biodiversity preservation The high-level event on gender justice for, climate change and biodiversity will aim to recognize and reaffirm the importance and relevance of integrating gender considerations into national and international climate action and biodiversity preservation, with a view to the implementation of the Paris Agreement to the ongoing development of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework in the CBD. Specifically, this event would seek to promote higher levels of ambition through leadership and the inspiring message of women leaders in this segment. In addition, it aims to share experiences, perspectives, lessons learned and specific recommendations from a wide range of stakeholders regarding the integration of gender in climate change and biodiversity policy. |

Action Hub events
Area utilized as a dynamic events-space. Digital events, talk-shows, special launch events, competition winners announcements, or varied interactive activities, all of which focus on concrete climate action and giving a voice to the audience. During the conference the Indigenous Women of the World elected the Indigenous Women’s Caucus Representative and Indigenous Gender Representative on the International Indigenous Platform and the International Indigenous Caucus. They further published a declaration with the title “Join forces in defense of life, territory and our womanhood” in which they “speak out to make visible […] [ their] struggles for achieving buen vivir (good living) throughout the world, whereby women, men, and all the beings that inhabit Mother Earth can live together in harmony and justice.”
