Short info: This tutorial introduces how governments can respond to the climate change challenge through better budgeting, which integrates climate change risks and opportunities into budget preparation.

The tutorial is divided into five sections, and it takes around 30 minutes to complete all sections.

The tutorial has been developed under the UNDP Strengthening the Governance of Climate Change Finance to benefit the poor and vulnerable (2012-16) programme, with support from the Government of Sweden. The content is based on methodological work by Kit Nicholson.

Greening the Economy: Lessons from Scandinavia

Short info: The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University is an international centre of excellence on strategies for sustainable solutions. The IIIEE is ideally suited to understand and explain the interdisciplinary issues in green economies utilising the diverse disciplinary backgrounds of its international staff.
