eighth session in November 2002, and further endorsed by the COP at its tenth session in December
2004. This workshop will also look at the specific concerns relating to the implementation of Article

The Asia-Pacific Seminar on Climate Change has been annually organized since 1991 by the Ministry of the
Environment, Japan, and more recently in cooperation with the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO), Kanagawa

policy dialogues and the promotion of international cooperation to address climate change. The
objective of the Seminar is to exchange information, experience and views on climate change among countries
in Asia and the Pacific, and to facilitate further activities to address climate change in the region.
