Report of the Adaptation Committee.

This report covers the work of the Adaptation Committee (AC) between November 2015 and September 2016. It contains organizational and procedural information, including information on meetings held during this period and changes in members and co-chairs. The report further highlights progress made in the implementation of the flexible workplan of the AC for the years 2016–2018 in the areas of: promoting overarching coherence, including mandates arising from decision 1/CP.21; providing technical support and guidance to the Parties on adaptation actions and means of implementation; awareness-raising, outreach and sharing of information; and the technical examination process on adaptation. It concludes with recommendations for the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation for consideration and forwarding to the Conference of the Parties, as appropriate.
