Thematic days:
Side events
Official side events are a platform for admitted observer organizations, which have limited speaking
opportunities in the formal negotiations, to engage with Parties and other participants for knowledge
sharing, capacity building, networking and exploring actionable options for meeting the climate challenge.
UN agencies, admitted observer organizations and those Parties that partner with observers present their
work or foster discussions on key issues, often engaging the audience in a Q&A session. Side events are
90 minutes in duration. A side event slot is offered free of charge.
Please find the schedule of confirmed side events here. Additional side events will be confirmed as space
becomes available
Exhibits
Exhibits serve as a platform for observer organizations and Parties to highlight diverse climate change
issues at UNFCCC conferences and provide a meeting point for participants. They cover a wide variety of
topics and are loosely clustered by theme. An exhibit stand is offered free of charge.
The full list of exhibits and the exhibit materials are available through the link below.

The 1-Day Island is a format of an exhibit that could be booked by duly accredited Parties and
observers on a per-day basis to showcase climate action. The 1-Day Island could be used for open
dialogues, meeting peers, launching initiatives, campaigns, projects, presenting a new project or
the outcomes of implemented ones, in addition to the conventional use as an exhibit.
It allowed having a small standing audience of up to 20 people. The sound system was not provided,
as the space was about 5 meters in diameter.
Please fill the booking form available
here.
