From Bonn Central Station: Take bus number 610 or 611 (direction Heiderhof) at the bus terminal
opposite the main train station. Get off at stop “Deutsche Welle”.
From Bad Godesberg: Take bus number 610 or 611 (direction Bonn Hbf) at stop “Rheinallee”
next to the train station.
Get off at stop “Deutsche Welle”. Walk down to Platz der Vereinten Nationen (towards the
Rhine river) for about two minutes. The main entrance pavilion of the UN Campus is located in the
middle of the intersection of Platz der Vereinten Nationen, Heussallee and Kurt-Schumacher-Strasse.
The cost of a one-way ticket is approx. 3 EUR.
By subway
From Bonn Central Station: Take subway (“U-Bahn”) line 16, 63 or 66 (direction Bad
Godesberg/Koenigswinter).
From Bad Godesberg: Take subway (“U-Bahn”) line 16 or 63 (direction Bonn Hbf, Tannenbusch
orCologne).
Alight at the stop “Heussallee” and follow the signs "Deutsche Welle/UN
Campus". When you reach the street go straight ahead until you reach the main entrance pavilion
of the UN Campus. The distance from the subway station is about 250 metres. The cost of a one-way
ticket is approx. 3 EUR.
By taxi
The fare for a taxi ride to the UN Campus (Platz der Vereinten Nationen 1) or WCCB (Platz der
Vereinten Nationen 2) from Bonn city centre, Bonn Central Station or Bad Godesberg is around 10 EUR.

By bus from Bonn
Take bus number 610 or 611 from Bonn Central Station (direction Heiderhof). The bus terminal is
located opposite the central train station/Hauptbahnhof. If taking bus number 610, alight at the
“Kennedyallee” stop (located at the intersection of Kennedyallee and
Ludwig-Erhard-Allee). It will take approximately twelve minutes. To get to Haus Carstanjen, cross the
Ludwig-Erhard-Allee at the traffic light. Walk east on the Kennedy Allee in the direction of the
Rhine River. When you reach the 'T' intersection between Kennedyallee and
Martin-Luther-King-Strasse, turn left. Continue walking for about 50 metres and look for the entrance
on your right marked ‘United Nations’. If taking bus number 611, alight at stop
“Kanalstrasse”. Cross the road, turn left and continue for approximately 100 metres and
look for the entrance on your right. The cost of a one-way ticket is approx. 3 Euros.
By bus from Bad Godesberg
Take bus number 611 from stop “Rheinallee” located just behind the main subway station in
Bad Godesberg. Alight at the “Kanalstrasse” stop. It will take approximately thirteen
minutes. When you get off the bus, walk straight for about 100 metres and look for the entrance on
your right marked ‘United Nations’. The cost of a one-way ticket is approx. 3 Euros.
By taxi
The fare for a taxi to Haus Carstanjen from most places in Bad Godesberg should not exceed 10-15
Euros depending on where you are coming from. The fare from the centre of Bonn is approximately 15
