1) The DOE is requested to clarify how it has validated that the (y-1) approach adopted by the project proponent for the calculation of the grid emission factor is in line with the requirements of the applied methodology AMS-I.D version 10, considering that para 9(b) of the methodology reads "the data of the year in which project generation occurs must be used" and that at the time of verification energy mix data were available for the years when the project generation occurred. Please refer to VVS 2.0 para 245.
